About me
I’m a trauma-informed Somatic Counsellor and systems-level Communications Strategist.
My work sits at the intersection of mental health, embodiment, and the wider systems we live and work within. I’ve spent years working in high-pressure, global environments where emotional intelligence was valued but the body was rarely included.
Body Space grew from seeing the limits of mind-only approaches, both personally and professionally, and from a belief that many of our struggles are not personal failures but intelligent nervous-system responses to chronic pressure and disconnection.
This practice is both my personal work and the early foundation of a wider platform shaped by clients, collaborators and a commitment to ethical, human-centred scale.

Somatic Counselling is a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body and emotions. It focuses on how our physical sensations and movements connect to our emotional and mental well-being. Through techniques like breathwork, body awareness and mindfulness, we work together initially with traditional talking therapy to release stored trauma, reduce stress and promote healing.

You are in control of what you share. My role is to support you at your own pace.

Somatic counselling is generally suitable for anyone who is open to exploring the mind-body connection. However, if you have specific medical or psychological conditions, it’s best to discuss this so we can determine the best approach for you.

Sessions are tailored to your needs and can include talking, guided body awareness exercises, breathwork, gentle movement and mindfulness practices. Each session is a collaborative process intuitively designed to help you feel safe and supported as we explore your experiences.

It's normal to feel unsure at first, especially if this is a new experience. I create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe exploring these aspects. We go at a pace that feels right for you.
